Welcome to Dancing Bear at Rumbling Bald Resort at Lake Lure NC
 

Dancing Bear is a mountain home above the lake and within the Rumbling Bald Resort.

Unwind and relax on the deck with a view of towering Bald Mountain or enjoy the outdoors and take a short walk to the beach and the many resort amenities - pools, spa, gym, miniature golf, tennis, bocci, or volley ball.

At the house, there is plenty of room for a variety of activities without active guests in the game room being heard by those reading or visiting in the living room.

If you enjoy morning walks, you can join the 7:30 group at the spa for a walking adventure on the resort grounds. There's plenty of golf at the two championship courses at Bald Mountain and Apple Valley. Enjoy.

Our home sleeps 10-12 guests or 8 golfers in separate beds plus additional double futon in game room.  The house is very quiet so children sleeping downstairs can not be heard from master bedroom.  A blow-up bed could be added comfortably to the upstairs master bedroom if small children need to be close by.

Property Information

The entire family will enjoy this spacious  4 bedroom, 3 bath home. One bedroom is a bunk room for the kids. There are two master bedrooms each with a bath and large walk-in closets.  The upstairs master has sliders to the deck.

Relax on the deck with a  marvelous view of Bald Mountain. Dancing Bear sleeps 10-12 with comfortable living space. You can walk from our mountain home to the resort amenities.

Enjoy one of the resort restaurants or take a dinner cruise on the Lake.

Airy living room provides a place to read, sit by the fireplace or gather around with family and friends while the children enjoy the downstairs  family/game room with TV and DVD player.

Lower Level Master Bedroom
The lower  level master bedroom has a walk-in closet and full bath.  This room has queen and twin beds.
 
Bunk Room
The kids will love the bunkroom right next to the family room.  The bunkroom has one twin, double futon and upper bunk twin.
 
Kitchen
Enjoy a gourmet dinner  prepared in the fully outfitted kitchen or BBQ on the deck.  The dining room table easily accomodates large family gatherings.  
 
Upper Level Master Bedroom
The upper level master bedroom is quiet and has a walk in closet, a full bath and sliders to a deck sitting area.  From the bed you  have  views of Bald Mountain.
 
Guest Bedroom
The woodlandsl guest bedroom has two twin beds, a large closet and a full bath just outside the door.
